Tank Location

Lance Wehrman Inspecting Tank

Septic Tank UndergroundMany homeowners and clients find that the most difficult task to having their septic tank pumped is actually finding where it is located in the ground.

If you have a map that show's it's location (provided either by the homebuilder, septic engineer, or county planning/building department) it makes the job a whole lot easier. If you do not, Plumas Sanitation can help locate the tank by using an electronic tank locator that utilizes magnetic sensors.

Once the tank is located, the next step is uncovering the lids. This can be done either by hand or by backhoe, depending on the depth of the tank and the willingness of the shoveler!

Plumas Sanitation can help with all these steps and services once a client determines the tank needs pumping.
